A note on attribution inquiries
Requests for an opinion on a specific work should include the object's dimensions and medium, all available provenance documentation, any prior technical or scientific examination, and high-resolution images of the recto, verso, and any inscriptions or labels. All prior opinions on the work should be disclosed at the outset.
Every engagement opens with a preliminary review, and terms are set in writing before any further work begins. The full requirements are set out under standards of practice. Rates are provided on request.
